Natural Tips to Improve your Skintone

To have a clean and flawless skin is what most of us crave for. However, it doesn’t work fine with everyone most of the times. But you could actually reverse that “trend” if you give a little more care for your skin and just let it breathe. That little effort could transform your skin from ‘dull and lifeless’ to ‘glowing and flawless’.
Now, let us take a look at some natural tips which will help you to improve your skin tone.

1. Exfoliate

Exfoliation is as important as any other process. It can work wonders on your skin. However, most people forget the fact that the epidermal layer of the skin gets dirty and grimy easily, making it look lifeless. It is necessary that you scrub with cleansing grains so as to give the skin a more porcelain look. You can make a simple and fabulous scrub at your home with natural ingredients. Take one cup of rice powder, one cup of oatmeal and half a cup of lemon rind powder. Combine all the ingredients and then store it in a jar. Take two tsp at a time and blend with milk or rose water depending on your skin and then scrub the face and neck slowly with it. Wash it off and pat dry.

2. Handling Acne and Pimples

Some women suffer from pimples and acne. They try to hide those spots by applying heavy make-up, assuming that it would do the trick. However, you cannot hide pimples. You could rather spend some time to treat them. The golden rule is to retain your skin scrupulously clean. You need to drink plenty of water, keep a clean stomach and also avoid constipation. You can use a mint or camphor based skin tonic that will help in reducing the bacteria which builds up on the skin, in turn, it will help reduce the chances of new pimples. You can also make natural pimple packs at home. Take one teaspoon Fuller’s earth, five ground cloves and one teaspoon mint paste. Combine with rose water and then apply to the skin and let it dry. Wash this face off with cold water.

3. Tomatoes to the Rescue

Open pores can destroy the way your skin looks. It is necessary to know how to shrink them so that even when you use make-up, your skin appears smooth. What you need to do is clean your skin and then rub with cold tomato halves onto the skin. Let it rest on your skin so that your skin soaks up its juice. After this, you can wash it off after 15 minutes. If you do this every day, you will see a marked improvement in your skin.

4. Getting Rid of Blackheads

Blackheads imply that you are not taking enough care of your skin and that your skin is unclean. Blackheads are hardened sebum in the skin pores that are a consequence of improper cleaning and ignoring skin care routine. Most people overlook the fact that your skin has to be of good quality, and that takes discipline and proper care. So start working on your skin and you will find that it displays results sooner than you imagined. If the blackheads are really deep, it is best to get them cleaned out professionally, at least once every four weeks. Moreover, you can take an orange peel powder and combine it with rose water and scrub on the blackhead prone areas and lightly squeeze them out with a towel after rinsing the scrub off.

Skincare is easy and is an essential part of our lives. Skincare, in a natural way, cannot be considered as rocket science. You only have to learn to find out the right choices at the right time to do stuff the natural way and see your skin smile.
