1. Baking Soda

2. Potato

You can either slice the potato or grate it or whisk it in the blender.

3. Vitamin C

Vitamin C infused fruits and vegetables include, papaya, orange, broccoli, kiwi, guava, etc. You can also apply these fruits or vegetables directly to the affected area for results.

4. Bearberry


Bearberry comprises of Alpha Arbutin, which is known to help in lightening the skin very fast. Arbutin has been proven to reduce dark spots and freckles efficiently. Bearberry extract decreases the amount of tanning experienced after the sun exposure. This, in turn, reverses the sign of ageing on the skin.

5. Amla

6. Aloe Vera

7. Sandalwood

9. Melanin


People who have dark skin tone is more likely to have underarm darkening or auxiliary darkening since they must be having extra melanin in the body. Melanin is a shielding pigment that guards the skin against UV rays. The hormonal cocktail which is brought along with pregnancy is the other reason why you may see underarm pigmentation.



Diabetes could be the yet another reason since elevated insulin levels could also cause skin darkening.
